Branding Methods for Custom Branded Caps

Fast Caps offers two decoration methods:

• Embroidery: your logo is stitched into the cap for a hard-wearing, textured finish. Pricing is based on stitch count, and we recommend giving us PMS thread colours for the closest colour match.
• Powerprint: a full-colour digital print that is heat pressed onto the cap. It suits detailed, multi-colour logos and gradients, but can’t exactly match fluoro, metallic or PMS colours.

We also offer 3D puff embroidery and patches. These can’t be ordered online, so contact our team for a quote.

How to Order Custom Caps

• Choose your caps: pick a style and colour from the range above.
• Choose embroidery or Powerprint and enter your quantity. The minimum for each style is shown in the quantity box.
• Upload your logo: vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) are best, or high-resolution images.
• Approve your proof before production starts.
• Production and delivery: production generally takes 10 working days after approval (around 15 for caps from the USA), then your order is shipped Australia-wide.

What is the minimum order for custom caps?

Most caps can be ordered online from 25 units, and you can mix cap colours in one order. Some styles, especially caps imported from the USA, have a higher minimum set by the supplier, and the minimum for each style is shown in the quantity box on its product page. Larger orders get lower prices per cap, so it’s worth checking a few quantities before you decide.

How long does it take to get branded caps?

Production generally takes 10 working days after you approve your proof. Caps imported from the USA usually take around 15 working days. Delivery time to your address is extra. If you have an event or deadline, tell us the date you need your caps when you order. We do rush jobs whenever we can, and our team will confirm the fastest option for your style and quantity.

Are there setup costs for personalised caps?

Setup costs are already included in your total price, so there’s no surprise extra charge for preparing your logo. Every order also includes a proof for you to approve before anything is made, and you can ask for a free digital mock-up if you’d like to see your logo on the cap first. If something doesn’t look right, let our team know before you approve it and we’ll talk you through the options.

Should I choose embroidery or Powerprint for my logo?

Embroidery gives a raised, stitched finish that looks premium and lasts well, which makes it the most popular choice for caps. Powerprint is a full-colour print, so it’s better for detailed logos, gradients and photos that would be hard to stitch. If you’re not sure which suits your logo, send it to us and we’ll recommend the best method when we prepare your proof.

What artwork do I need for corporate caps?

Vector files such as AI, EPS or vector PDF give the best result because they can be resized without losing quality. High-resolution PNG, JPG, PSD or TIFF files of at least 300 dpi can also work. Please convert fonts to outlines and include PMS colours if you have them. If your file isn’t print-ready, our team can usually help with basic adjustments.

Do you deliver bulk caps Australia-wide?

Yes, we deliver to every state and territory, including regional areas. Delivery times depend on your location, and our team can quote for orders that need to go to several delivery addresses. Can I get a sample cap before I order?

Yes, samples are available on request for most styles. You pay for the sample cap or caps and the freight to get them to you. A sample is a good idea if you want to check the fit, fabric or colour before placing a bulk order, especially for staff uniforms or retail merchandise.
